Mina -- A Fingerless Glove
By Sarah Lewites This is a pattern for fingerless gloves. It is named after a wonderful user here on ravelry who gave me the yarn, inspiring this pattern!

Directions for a larger size are given in parenthesis when needed (you could also go up a needle size). Please feel free to message saryberry on ravelry if you have any questions or concerns regarding this pattern. Materials: 175 yards of fingering weight yarn, Size 3 (3.25 mm) double-pointed or circular needles (if you'd like to use magic loop), 2 stitch markers, 1 cable needle Gauge: 17 stitches over 2 inches in cabled ribbing
Abbreviations:
C2F: slip 1 stitch onto cable needle, hold it in front of work, knit 1 stitch from your work, then knit the other stitch off of your cable needle. Cable 3 over 2: Slip 3 stitches to cable needle, hold it to the front of the work, knit 2 stitches from your work, then knit the 3 stitches off of your cable needle. The following abbreviations are simply reverses of the above, they will be used when making the left hand glove: C2B: slip 1 stitch onto your cable needle, hold it to the back of work, knit 1 stitch from your work, then knit the other stitch off of your cable needle. Cable 2 under 3: Slip 2 stitches to cable needle, hold it to the back of work, knit 3 stitches from your work, then knit the 2 stitches off of your cable needle.

Work 1 round in k5, p1 rib, but continuing to knit the stitches in between the markers. 17. Work \*cable 3 over 2, p1\* for 23 (29) stitches, remove marker, bind off 16 stitches, remove second marker, finish the round repeating \*cable 3 over 2, p1\*. 18. Work k5, pl rib for 11 rounds. 19. \*cable 3 over 2, p1\*, repeat from \* to end of round. 20. Work k2, p1 rib for 4 rounds 21. \*c2f, p1\*, repeat from \* to end. 22. Work k2, p1 rib for 4 rounds 23. Bind off in pattern To make your left-hand glove, repeat the directions as written, but change “"c2f" to “c2b, and “cable 3 over 2" to “cable 2 under 3." This change is optional, but it does make the cables go towards the thumbs on both hands.
