The washcloth is worked in all garter stitch except for a small box of stockinette where you can sew a face. This pattern is meant to be silly and fun, it's for wiping up in the kitchen or restroom, why not have fun with it? Once you get used to the technique to make the legs, feel free to experiment with different silly shapes and sizes.
