Special Stitches

Puff Stitch = Yarn over (yo), insert the hook in the stitch, yo, draw the yarn through the stitch, yo, and draw the yarn through the 2 loops on the hook. 2 loops remain on the hook. Material

250 gramm cotton 50g/115m beige or 250 gramm Acrylic 50g/133m each for hook 3-4mm For the eyes a little bit of white and for the mouth a little bit of rose · 2 safety eyes 1,6 cm diameter Sewing yarn for the eyelash and dollhair or some boucle yarn Stuffmaterial Hook 2,5 mm Hook 2,0 mm Notice The baby willbe worked general with hook 2,5 mm. If you use a yarn with other specification please note: use a hook on size smaller than the advice of the yarn description. I be worked in continuous rounds. Please mark the beginning of each roun You have to count the stitches very carefully.

Slip Stitches

In this pattern we use slip stitches very often. It's important that you work this slip stitches very very loosely. If you work it to tight you will get some Problems to work these stitches in the next round.

Pause

Now we finished the eyes, nose and the mouth Eyes Hold the eyes from inside the head to the opening for the eyes. After you find the right position secure the eyes and sew it Sew the eyes to the head. Make the stitches one round before the eye opening so that you form an eyelid.

Now we modelizing the nose. Make a stitch in the last of the 7 ch, make 3 chains and then a slst in the middle of the 7 ch, then again 3 chain and a slst in the first of the 7 ch. Finish leave a long tail

Now sew the first 5 stitches around the first chain space, the 6th stitch you sew to the slst between the both chain spaces, and then sew the last 5 stitches around the second chainspace.

To secure the form of the nose we sew the nosepart from the inside of the head. Therefore we place it from behind in the nose. Then we sew it to the nose, beginning in the marked stitch .... Now sew each stitch from one side to the other. Don't draw the tail to tight.

Last we sew the nosepart from inside to the edge of the nose

Now sew the other side to the underlip Before we close both open sides of the mouthpart we pull the top lip out of the head.

Finish off.

I sewed the eylashes with sewing yarn, but feel free to use false eyelashes. draw the needle to the stitch and then work through the loop and then through the next stitch til the end of the lid

You can also make again some changes to the nose if you are not satisfied with it. I draw the bridge of the nose a litle bit inside ... therefore I go with the needle from the end of the head through the head to the nose, make on stitch at the bridge and go back through the head to the end of it.

Hold the Ears to the head (approx. 8-10 st from the eye) secure it. Sew the ear to the head only on the straight side (means the slst) as shown on the first picture. Then sew it around the 6inc.
