Materials: 15 grams of Berroco Suede yarn or other worsted weight yarn can substitute, 4mm and5mmcrochet hooks Word Key: sl st = slip stitch st = stitch ch = chain sc = single crochet hdc = half double crochet R = round (#) = how many stitches at the end of row sk = skip With your 4mm hook: R1: magic circle, 9 sc, sl st into 1st sc, ch 1 (9) R2: 2 sc in every st around, join, ch 1 (18) R3: \* 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next st\* repeat between \*\* to end of row, join, ch1 (27) R4-7: sc all around, join, ch 1 (27) R8-9: hdc all around, join, ch 1 (27) R10-12: sc all around, join, ch 1 (27) R13: hdc all around, join, ch 1 (27) R14: \*3 hdc, ch 1, sk 1 st\* repeat between \*\* 5 more times, 3 hdc, join, ch 1 (27) R15-16: sc all around, join, fasten off, weave in ends (27) Drawstring: Double up some yarn (I recommend cutting two 1ooin lengths of your yarn to make sure it's not too short so you don't waste much), switch to your 5mm hook, make a chain of your desired length, do not fasten off.
