This is a very simple and completely reversible lace pattern that can really show off hand-spun yarn but any yarn with a soft hand will work! Materials: Perfect for hand-spun but any yarn with a soft hand will work (\~250 yds) Needles: I used US 5 but use what you need to get gauge or as appropriate for the fiber you use luge: 5 stitches/inch in stockinette (but gauge not critical for this projec

CDI = Center double increase Knit into back, then front of stitch and then knit into bar between those stitches (making 3 stitches out of 1; for help see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1qYe81IAT8) PSso = Pass slipped-stitch over K2ToG =Knit 2 together PM =pass marker Cast on 47 stitches (Il used a knitted cast-on). Row 1-6 Knit all but slip the 1st stitch and purl the last stitch. Place marker after 1st 3 and before last 3 stitches.
