Winterberry is a warm cowl for cold winter days! Featuring a decorative top border and simple bottom border, this design uses a heavy fingering weight yarn that results in a warm, thick fabric. Cowl is flared, seamless and knit top-down using circular needles. Sample cowl shown on US size 12 dress form. Enjoy!

· Eight stitch markers are used for increases only. This design uses the Long Tail cast on, but you may use your favorite stretchy cast on method.

Ribbing: With 3.00mm circular needles and Long Tail cast on method, loosely cast on 168 stitches. Place unique stitch marker to mark beginning of round. Be careful not to twist stitches.
