The Little Deer Knitting Pattern Inspired by Frida Kahlo's Artwork

The Little Deer

Caitlin ffrench This pattern was a collaboration with Lorna's Lacesand is inspired by Frida Kahlo's painting ^The Little Deer'. Yarn: Lorna's Laces Red yarn- 225g (2.25 skeins) Variegated yarn- 250g (2.5 skeins) Needles: 6.5mm- 29 inch or longer circular needle Gauge: 16 sts/ 20 rows in stockinette stitch unblocked Finished size (blocked): 80 inches long/ 24 inches from cast on to cast off tip. Abbreviations: K- knit P- purl k2tog- knit 2 stitches together p2tog- purl 2 stitches together sl1- slip one stitch as if to knit sts- stitches This pattern also requires tassels- but really you can use pom poms, beads, or nothing at all! If its your first time making them, there are many tutorials online with helpful videos!
