MATERIALS:

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Working with 2 strands of yarn, and a size 9 mm crochet hook, chain 20. (Any number of chain stitches will work, 20 is recommended for a 10 inch wide scarf.) 2. Double crochet in the 3rd stitch from the hook, and in each stitch of the chain. 3. Chain 2 and turn, double crochet in each stitch across the row, working in the back side of the stitch only. 4. Repeat step 3 until the work measures 48 inches long, bring the 2 ends together, and slip stitch to join into a large circle. Fasten off, weave yarn ends into the finished work.

TOP LAYER: Chain 5, slip stitch to join and form a ring. \*Chain 3, single crochet in the ring, repeat from \* to make a total of 10 loops in the ring, slip stitch to join and fasten off. MIDDLE LAYER: Chain 5, slip stitch to join and form a ring. \*Chain 5, single crochet in the ring. repeat from \* to make a total of 10 loops, slip stitch to join and fasten off. BOTTOM LAYER: Chain 5, slip stitch to join and form a ring. \*chain 7, single crochet in the ring, repeat from \* to make a total of 10 loops in the ring, slip stitch to join and fasten off. Layer all 3, and stitch together in the center. Sew a button or pearl in the center. To make the flower removable, sew it to a hair barrette.
