The Knitting Ewes Patterns By Linda Martindale
"Chic' Infinity Scarf

This scarf is approximately 72 inches, if not sewed into a loop. You only need one skein of this fun and creative yarn. Red Heart Boutique ‘Chic'. Size 13 needles. Tips: Do not use plastic needles. They stick to this yarn and are impossible to get even stitches. This yarn comes in a 60 yd. hank, so you have to wind into a ball before you try to use. Place untwisted hank loop, over the back of a chair. Take ties off of yarn. Start to wind yarn into a ball or wind onto a piece of cardboard. My hank did become quite tangled so be forewarned. Just do it slowly, and if it tangles do not pull into to knots. Shake tangles while you free the yarn. (I am a long time Star Trek fan, and all I could think of while working with this yarn was \* \*The trouble With Tribbles'. I really wanted to name the scarf, The Tribble Infinity Scarf, but I knew I would be infringing copyright laws. )

Cast on 6 stitches. I did the whole scarf in seed stitch. Row 1- k1,p1, repeat across row Row 2- p1, k1, repeat, continue with these two rows until scarf is approx 72 inches long Then sew cast on and bind off together (careful not to twist.) This yarn is so forgiving, you won't be able to see the sewing. \* 'The Trouble with Tribbles' is the name of an episode in the original Star Trek Series. Tribbles are furry little creatures whose sole purpose is to eat and make more little tribbles.
