This satchel is made to hold dear objects use mine to, hold my most used tarot deck It is said that keeping,your tarot deck wrapped in silk will'protect them. It would also be a wonderful place to hold stones, secrets, or bones of dearly departed small creatures. This piece is worked fat and stitched together after finishing. One Size Gauge: 14 sts X 20 rows= 4"X4" square in stockinette stitch Yarn: DK weight silk held double. 45g.- 112m Notions: Darning needle Finished size: 5" wide. and 15" long before stitching together. I-cord is 3o" in length. Cast on 17 stitches. Row 1: \*k1, p1. Repeat from \* to last stitch. k1. Repeat row 1 for a total of 86 times. Bind off. Fold work in half, and stitch each side up. Use remaining yarn to create a 3 stitch I-cord. Lace top of bag with i-cord.
