BODY

Shape top of Leg K2tog across row to last st , K1 -(13 sts ) P row K2tog across row to last st , K1 -( 7sts ) Cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing, thread yarn through sts and pull up tightly, sew seam and stuff firmly, stuffing as you go. Attach to body.

Arms Make 2_
To shape hands Cast on 8sts with Flesh yarn and 3mm needles Inc 1, K2, inc in next 2 sts, K2, inc 1 ( 12sts ) Prow. Inc 1st at each end of next and following Alt row until you have ( 16sts P row Dec 1st at each end of next and following Alt row until you have ( 12 sts) Starting with a p row St st 7 rows Inc 1, K to last 2 sts, inc 1, K1 -( 14sts ) Starting with a P row, St st 15 rows K2tog at both ends ( 12sts ) Cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing and thread through stitches, sew and stuff firmly.
Assemble Doll
If you have not already done so, attach legs to bottom of Body piece, attach Head to Neck. Attach Arms, just below Neck edge. Cut a long length of Flesh yarn and wrap around the dolls neck pulling tight to give shape, fasten off and push needle with yarn through the doll and cut yarn leaving the end go back inside the doll.
Hair
Cast on 48sts using Brown and 3mm needles K1, P1 to end Garter st 27 rows (K2, K2tog)to end -(36sts ) Garter st 3 rows (K1, K2tog）to end -(24sts ) Garter st 2 rows (K2tog）to end -(12sts) Thread yarn through sts and pull up tightly, sew seam, place on doll with seam at the back and sew all around and using a pin to mark the centre
Buns -(Make 2)
Make 2 pieces alike, Please note that P side is the right side Cast on 10sts with Brown and 3mm needles Inc knitwise in every st -( 20sts ) Beg with a P row and St st 6 rows P2tog, to end -( 10sts ) Thread yarn through the 10 sts on needle, then gather around the cast on edge weaving the sewing needle through the sts, stuff lightly and pull tightly , put the needle up through the middle of the bun, back through and then attach the bun to the side of the dolls head in line with the shoulders
Make Face
Make holes with your 3mm needle, in the 9th st down from edge of hair on the Right side of the centre pin, and counting 7 rows across on the 9th st down on the Left side of the pin, glue and push the eyes in the holes and hold firm for a couple of seconds Using a length of Brown yarn, embroider eyebrows 1 row above the eyes in an upside down V shape as in the picture
With Red embroider the Mouth, following the photo, sew a nose with just a couple of overlapping sts in the samearea

Blouse

Shape Left Back
K13, K2tog, turn and work on these sts only for now Dec 1st at inside armhole edge in next 3 rows -( 11 sts ) Starting with a P row , St st 10 rows, finishing on a P row
Shape Shoulders
Cast off 2 sts at beg of row, work to end Cast off 4 sts and P to end Break yarn and leave remaining 5 sts on a safety pin
Front
With Right side facing you, re-join yarn K2tog, K22, K2tog, turn and work on these sts only Starting with a P row and working in St st, Dec 1st at each end of next 3 rows -(18sts ) St st 4 rows straight
Shape neck
K5, K2tog, turn P2tog, P to end K to last 2 sts, K2tog, -( 4sts ) Work 3 rows St st and cast off and break yarn With Right side facing you, place next 4 sts on a safety pin for centre front of neck Re-join yarn, K2tog, K to end Complete to match Left side of neck, reversing all shapings
Shape Right Back

Work the same as the sleeves for the Blouse only St st for 5 rows instead of 7 rows
Make Up
Sew up side seams and shoulders, insert the sleeves, overlap Garter st border at front neck and sew 3 Black beads, taking needle through the 2 fronts to secure
Place on Doll
Scarf
Cast on 4sts with orange and 3mm needles Garter st 60 rows Cast off, cut the yarn in to 2 inch lengths for fringing Using a crochet hook, insert fringing on scarf Wrap around dolls neck and overlap on the shoulders and secure with a few stitches
Hat
Crown Cast on 55sts with Beige and 3mm needles Garter st 8 rows Begin top section Begin with a K row and St st 4 rows Shape top ( K3, K2tog)to end -( 44sts ) P row (K2, K2tog）to end -(33sts) P row (K1, K2tog)to end -(22sts ) P row K2tog to end -( 11sts ) Thread yarn through sts and pull up tightly and sew seam
Brim
Cast on73sts using Beige and 2.5mm needles P row K1, ( inc in next st, K1）to end (109sts) Begin with a P row, St st 6 rows P 1 row Begin with a P row St st 6 rows P1,(P2tog, P1）to end -(73sts) K 1 row and cast off
Make up
Oversew the row ends of brim together, with Right side facing, oversew cast on and cast off edges together. Oversew this edge of the brim to the cast on edge of the crown piece Place on doll head and secure, cut a length of Black ribbon around the hat and glue in place
Daisies - ( Make 3)
Using a 3mm crochet hook and Gold yarn, crochet 4 chain and join in a circle 4dc inside the ring, 2dc in each dc of previous round -( 8dc ) Change to White, work Petals, crochet 6ch, 1dc, 6 ch in same ch space , do this all around, join and fasten off and sew ends in Crochet 4ch, 4 dc in the ring, 2dc in each dc, dc around and fasten off, Sew in ends and glue to hat as in picture, Hat pin - take your length of wire and glue 3 beads onto the wire and then glue in to the hat
Umbrella
Take one of the cocktail stick and carefully remove the paper off, ( this will be used as a template for your fabric ), cut out you fabric and glue on top of the paper on the second cocktail stick, put aside to dry, with Black yarn and 3mm crochet hook, crochet a length of chain to fit around the edge of the umbrella, 1tr in 3rd ch from hook, 4 tr in next ch, slip st in next, repeat across, fasten off sew in ends and then glue along the edge of the umbrella Using a sewing needle and Black cotton, do some running sts through the crochet edging and pull tight
Parrot
Cast on 3sts with White and 3mm needles Inc in all sts - ( 6sts ) Inc in all sts - (12sts ) Stst3rows K2tog to end -( 6sts ) P2tog to end -( 3sts ) Fasten off, sew parrot, and stuff it
The Beak
With Black and 3mm needles P row K2tog to end - 3sts S1, K2tog, Psso, fasten off
The Neck
Cast on 6sts with White and 3mm needles St st 2 rows K2tog to end ( 3sts ) St st 2 rows Cast off, embroider feathers to neck using Bright Green Sew the neck to the head and embroider face as photo
Glue the cocktail stick and place it inside the neck, go to the dolls Right hand and glue the stick to her hand, so she looks like she is holding it
Carpet Bag
Cast on 16sts with Khaki green St st 58rows, Cast off Sides ( make 2 ) Cast on 10sts St st 24 rows, cast off Sew sides to main part, follow the photo to embroider the Diamond logo on the front of the bag Put the seams at the side together and stitch down the side about an inch, stuff and oversew the top of the bag closed, place a Black bead in the centre, crochet two straps with ch st and sew to bag, then put over the dolls Left hand and catch with few stitches.
