Row 1 (RS): \*K2, wyif sl 2, repeat from \* to last 2 ts, k2. Rows 2 and 4 (WS): Purl. Row 3 (RS): K4, \*wyif sl 2, k2, repeat from \* to last 4 sts, k4. Repeat rows 1 - 4 for woven stitch.

· To create fringe at each end of scarf, you will leave a 7"' tail at beginning and end of every row. To keep work tidy as you go, every 8 - 10 rows, tie loose knot of two yarn strands held together with two other yarn strands held together (4 strands total per knot). Do not tighten knots until end of piece.

With color A, cast on 250 sts, leaving a 7"' tail. Cut yarn. Next row (WS) - set up row: With color A, allow for a 7" tail of yarn at beginning of row, purl across row, measuring a 7' tail at end of row and cut yarn. Row 1 (RS): With color A, begin woven stitch pattern, always leaving a 7" tail and the beginning and end of every AND AT THE SAME TIME following this color sequence: Rows 1 - 2color ARows 3 - 4color BRows 5 - 10 color C Rows 11 - 18 color A Rows 19 - 24 color B Rows 25 - 28 color C Rows 29 - 30 color A Row 31: Knit across row in color C. BO loosely in color C.

Tie fringe in knots in groups of (4) strand. Make first loop of knot across each scarf edge, adjusting tension across edge; then make a seond tie to finish knot.
