Pendleton-Style Scarf
By Heather Boyce

Gauge: Gauge is not important for this pattern. As with any pattern you can go up a yarn weight or needle size to get a bigger gauge and conversely for a smaller gauge.
What I Used
Ibought two skeins of both the Honey and Terra Cotta colors. Ibought only one skein of the Espresso, Turquosie, and White. Yarn: (approximate amounts) Vanna's Choice Solids - Honey Vanna's Choice Solids - Terra Cotta Vanna's Choice Solids - White Red Heart Super Saver Solids - Turquoise Caron One Pound - Espresso Needle: size 9
Pattern
CO 19 sts Garter stitch for 4 to 6 rows (or to desired length for bottom border) Stockinette using chart until scarf is desired length. The chart is worked on both the right and wrong sides. Garter stitch for 4 to 6 rows (or to desired length for top border) Bind off Wet block to open up colorwork. This willallow you to pull and manipulate the stitches to kind of even things out where stitches might have gotten bunched up. I finished my scarf by sewing a long strip of thin polar fleece to the back to cover allthe carried over yarn. @ Copyright 2015 Heather Boyce of Modrocker Designs.
