TARDIS fingerless mittens

This pattern is heavily adapted from Sarah Kuper's pattern which can be found here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tardis-wristwarmers or here: https://knittventures.wordpress.com/2011/01/18/tardiswristwarmers/ I converted her pattern to be made in the round with thumbs. I also played around a lot with the positioning and sizing of the windows and the letters in relation to the thumbs, to try and find the best placement that centers the design on your hands when actually wearing them. Abbreviations: CO: cast on k: knit p: purl k2tog: knit two together sts: stitches pm: place marker sm: slip marker m1R: make one right m1L: make one left MC: main color (blue) C1: color one (white) C2: color two (black)
