Kobold's Hakel-Slippers
This is the crochet variant of the knitted EASY-SLIPPERS. I personally prefer the knitted variant because they are more elastic then the crocheted ones. But it's everyone's own decision. The examples were crocheted with hooks 5.5 mm/Us 9 for my grandchildren. The pictures show the ones for the 3-4 year old girl.

I used overlefts from cotton yarn. You can easily recognize the parts of the slippers:

pink- front tip with increases lilac - middle part - worked straight with a slit in between pink - Fersenteil mit Abnahmen white - cuff - you can work it if you want - especially for children that they don't lose them (look at the picture below) It's an easy sizing. You can put them on every time to check the size. Basic measurement: from tip to slit approx. 2/3, from slit to the heel approx. 1/3 The Slippers are worked seamless in rounds. I worked half crochets. You may use single crochets or double crochets - as you like.
Basic instructions from tip to heel:
work a ring of 5 chain stitches Into the ring work 2 times an odd number of half crochets - close the round with a slip stitch. [2 ch count as the 1. hdc, work a 2nd hdc into the stitch of the chains- hdc - 2 hdc into 1 st] repeat the part in brackets for the sole but instead of the chains work a hdc. Close round with slip stitch Continue with the next increasing round. That means to increase at the outer stitches as well on the upper side as on the bottom side (4 times per round) until the desired foot width is re Go on straight in rounds with hdc's until ca 2/3 foot length Now work the slit. Instead of the hdc's work the same number of chain stitches on the upper side. On the bottom side work hdc's as normal. Then continue some rows straight Now decrease the same way you increased on the tip, you have to crochet 2 together at the outer sides above and beyond - means 4 times a round but not to the complete tip only some rows to form a heel. Close the existing opening with slip stitches. - READY If you like, you may add a cuff (especially for children- that they don't lose them so often) To cope with the Form of the slipper I crocheted 3 together in the middle of the front cuff as well as in the back middle. To get the original stitch count again I worked 3 into the slit corner on each side - if desired in 2 rounds. Then go on straight until the length you want the cuff is reached. If you have slippery ground, put some sock stop on the sole If you like, you may crochet an additional sole may be you work it directly on the existing sole from tip to heel. Before closing the last slit put a separate sole (from rubber or other washable material) in to reinforce thesole. Here comes an estimated sizing table for slippers made of yarn for 5-6 mm hooks. If you use other yarn you have to try it out.

The slippers stretch a lot, so you can make double or triple sizes. The table is only an orientation. For the cuff I worked 3 rows for the 11cm slippers and 4 rows for the 14 cm Slipper:
