Work according to Chart 1, 27 pattern repeats breadthways and 24 rows. In row 21, thread beads onto previous row stitches. WS rows are not always shown in the chart. In such WS rows, work all sts as they present themselves, i.e. knit the knits and purl the purls. Continue working rows 25-34 and 47-56 as per Chart 2, 35-46 and 57- 64 as per Chart 3, 65-68 - as per Chart 4. Rows 69-72: knit on RS, purl on WS. In row 69, you should have 219 sts. Beginning with row 72, change to 4 mm (US6) needles. In row 73, begin forming the crescent shape by working in short rows - work 4 to 5 sts more in each row, at the same time working the flower pattern from Chart 5. Bind off after last row, block and wear with pride.
