Named for Draco (the Dragon), a northern hemisphere constellation, this is a fast and fun square to make. H hook or size needed for gauge.

Corner fan: Dc, (ch 1, dc) 5 times, all in same corner sp. Beg Corner fan: Ch 4, dc, (ch 1, dc) 4 times, all in same corner sp. Ch 4; join with slip st to form ring. Rnd 1: Ch 6, tr in ring, (ch 2, tr in ring) 10 times. Ch 2, join with sl st in 4th ch of beginning ch 6. (12 ch 2 sps) Rnd 2: S1 st into next ch 2 sp. Ch 1, 3 sc in same sp. 3 sc in next 11 ch 2 sps. Join with sl st in beginning sc. Rnd 3: Sl st in next sc. Ch 1, sc in same st. (Ch 4, sk 2 sc, sc in next sc) 11 times. Ch 4, join with sl st in beginning sc. (12 ch 4 sps) Rnd 4: S1 st into next ch 4 sp. Ch 1, 5 sc in same sp. 5 sc in each of next 11 ch 4 sps. Join with sl st in beginning sc. (60 sc) Rnd 5: S1 st in next sc.
