Comfort Color-Block Cardigan

This fun, basic cardigan was made using Berroco Comfort, 50% acrylic, 50% nylon, washer & dryer friendly. The gauge is 20 sts & 27 rows to 4" on #8 needles. We have the pattern sized from 3 months to 12 years. This yarn comes in 56 solids, and 7 multis. Above we have it made in colors that would be good for a boy or a girl. You could make it using masculine colors, girly colors, neutrals, school colors, or team colors. Come in and pick out your own. Measure interior 20 sts and 27 rows. If measurement is 4", you are ready to begin your project. If measurement is less than 4" you will need to re-gauge using a larger needie. If measurement is more than 4", you will need to re-gauge using a smaller needle. For most patterns, it will be OK if your row gauge is not exact, but you do have to have the stitch correct gauge. Note: Unless otherwise noted, all increases and decreases should be worked 1 or 2 sts in from the edge. This leaves a more even edge for sewing your garment together. ave at least 6'", this will make it much easier to weave the ends in.

Finishing
If edges are too curly, steam lightly before sewing. Set in sleeves between markers. (Sleeve with stripes of A and B will be sewn to front with Color C; and sleeve with stripes of A and C willbe sewn to front of Color B). Seam sleeves. Seam sides.
