Roly Poly Puppy
Designed by Carlene Jackson

Yarn and hook: I used a size F hook with Red Heart Super Saver yarn. You will need much less than a skein for the puppy's body, and an even smaller contrasting amount for the puppy's snout and ears. It is important that the gauge is small enough that stuffing will not show through the stitches, so use a needle/hook combination that allows for that. Other materials: Polyester stuffing Two half inch black shank or regular buttons for eyes Black embroidery floss for nose and mouth Abbreviations: sc: Single crochet dec: Decrease st: stitch Pattern designed by Carlene Jackson (www.etsy.com/shop/CarleneCrochet, http://www.ravelry.com/people/starlee) Items made from this pattern may be sold, but the pattern itself may not be distributed or reproduced.

Then, start sewing the snout onto the body. The top of the snout should be at row 22, about. When there is just a small amount left to be sewn, stuff the snout, then finish sewing.

Sew on button eyes on either side of the snout, on row 22.
