Short Row Section
Set-up Rows:
WithMC: SU Row 1: Knit 105 stitches, pm, k2tog, knit to end of row SU Row 2: Purl one row, slipping marker as you come to it SU Row 3: Knit to 3 stitches past the marker, turn work SU Row 4: yo on right needle, knit to 3 stitches past the marker, turn work Instead of doing wrap and turn short rows we will use a yo shortrow. When you get to the specified stitch you will simply turn the work, then add a yo on the right needle. When you come to a yo followed by a gap on the RS you will do a k2tog with the yo and the stitch immediately following it. When you come to a yo followed by a gap on the Ws you willto a ssk with the yo and the stitch immediately following it.
Short Rows:
Row 1: yo on right needle, knit to previous yo that is followed by a gap, k2tog that yo with the next stitch, k2, turn work Row 2: yo on right needle, knit to yo followed by gap, ssk the yo with the next stitch, k2, turn work Repeat Row 1 and 2 until you've used up all stitches. If you want to make your shawlette shallower you can use more stitches up. i.e. after your k2tog, k4 or 5 and then turn If you want to make your shawlette deeper you can use fewer stitches up each row, or even worksomerows even. Gently block shawl body, block the colorwork edge a little more aggressively so it does not curl on the edge.
