I-Cords

The I-Cords (2) are knit with 2 double pointed needles (from the same set of 4 used in the pattern). Cast on4 stitches. Knit the 4 stitches, but do not turn work. Push the 4 knit stitches to other end of needle, and knit them from there. The yarn must come out of the 4th stitch instead of the 1st. Continue to knit the 4 stitches, pushing them at the other end of the needle after each row; this will make an I-Cord. Continue to knit the I-Cord until it measures about 10" total. Cut yarn. With tapestry needle, pass through all 4 stitches, tight and block. Make a second identical I-Cord, weave in ends. Put your favorite soap in the soap holder and close both ends with the I-Cords. Can be used in the shower or to perfume drawers! For those who prefer to work with grids :
