Cast On Cast on using the pull string cast on with color 1 (if for decoration 1 strand will be fine, anything else i suggest 2 strands as one to make it thicker) leaving the starting tail at least 15 inches long . Row 1: e-wrap every other peg on the loom (figure 1) Row 2: e-wrap every peg on loom (figure 2) Every other peg will have 2 loops on it at this point. Take the bottom loops over the top loops (figure 3). Every peg on the loom will now have just 1 loop on it from the inside of the loom (figure 4) you will take the tail from the cast on and pull it through the 1st row of loops to pull closed at a later point (figure 5-8).

Body
Continue with color 1 Row 1-15 : K3, P2 Cut color 1 leaving tail long enough to tie off or weave in at a later point and finish up with color 2 Row 16-18 : K
Cast Off
Use a pull string cast off to finish up. Wrap working yarn 2 time around the entire loom and cut. Take your loom tool and pull the string through the loop on each peg remove everything from loom. Do not pull the string tight until you make the stem.
I Cord Stem
To make an I cord you cut a piece of string (color 2) roughly 80 inches long. Fold in half and then fold a second time and use both strands as one. You will wrap 2 pegs in a figure 8 shape and pull the bottom loops over the top and repeat until the i cord is the length you want.

Finishing Up
Once the stem is made run the pull string end through the stem about 1-2 inches from the bottom of the stem to hold it in place. Flip inside out and pull the string tight. Tie off and cut ends. Now use your stuffing to fill the pumpkin. Once it is as full as you would like take and pull the beginning pull string tight. Tie off weave in ends.
