Materials
1 skein each Cascade 220 Black (8555), Cascade 220 Kentucky Blue (9485), Cascade 220 Superwash Shire (1918), I Love This Yarn Soft Blue (70) (although I would recommend finding a light blue Cascade 220 like 8905) Gauge 5 sts and 7 rows per inch / Use needles required to get gauge (I used 16-inch US6 circs) Size Plenty of stretch and should easily fit a head from $^{20+}$ inches.
Set Up Rounds
With black cast on 80 sts and join to knit in the round. Knit 6 rounds, then purl one round (this will be the turning row for the hemmed brim) Next row: K7, kfb around (10 sts increased;: 90 sts on needles) Color Chart Instructions (red lines section rows by 10) Now follow the chart from the bottom up, carrying the yarns as you go. Rnd 8 K2, kfb around (30 sts increased; 120 sts on needle) Continue following the chart until Rnd 83 is finished and begin decreases: Rnd 84 K3, k2tog around Rnd 85 Knit Rnd 86 K2, k2tog around Rnd 87 Knit Rnd 88 K1, k2tog around Rnd 89 K2tog around Rnd 90 Knit Cutalong tail threadthrough remining stitches and pullto gather tpSecure yarnndtightl. Turn the brim under at the purl row and whipstitch to purl stitches on inside of hat. Make a pom-pom and sew on top.
