Finished size: Large doily: 7/2-inch/19 cm diameter approx Small doily: 4-inches/10 cm diameter approx Gauge: Large doily: rounds 1-4= 2-inches/5 cm Small doily: rounds 1-4 =1-inch/2.5 cm. ch - chain; sc - single crochet; dc - double crochet; hdc - half double crochet; tr - treble crochet; st - stitch; sl - slip; () or {} - repeat instructions between brackets as detailed in text; ch-sp - chain space/chain loop; yoh - yarn over hook; V-st - 1 dc, 3 ch, 1 dc allinto same place This doily is worked in rounds. Round 1: 4 ch [last 3 ch form 1st dc], work 11 dc into 4th ch from hook, join with a sl st to top of 1st dc.
