1 skien Malabrigo Rios in colorway 611 Ravelry Red, or approximately 35g worsted-weight yarn of your choice US 7 DPNs, or size needed to obtain gauge Stitchmarker Tapestryneedle

19 stitches = 4" in circular Stockinette (knit every round)

Directions
Cast 66 stitches onto one DPN.Distribute stitches as evenly as possible among 3 or 4 DPNs, whichever you prefer. Being careful not to twist cast-on, place a marker and join for working in the round; work 6 rounds of k1,p1 ribbing. Switch to circular Stockinette and work until piece measures 4" from cast-on.Work rounds 1-9 of crown shaping.

Round 1: (k9, k2tog) around—60 stitches Round 2: (k8, k2tog) around—54 stitches Round 3: (k7, k2tog) around—48 stitches Round 4: (k6, k2tog) around—42 stitches Round 5: (k5, k2tog) around—36 stitches Round 6: (k4, k2tog) around—30 stitches Round 7: (k3, k2tog) around—24 stitches Round 8: (k2, k2tog) around—18 stitches Round 9: (k1, k2tog) around—12 stitches Round 10: (k2tog) around—6 stitches Break yarn, leaving an 8" tail. Thread yarn through remaining stitches using tapestry needle. Weave in ends. Block.
