Both mitts:
Left mitt: Row 25: Work 10 stitches in the Ribbing pattern, place a marker, work the next 20 stitches in the Ribbing pattern, place a marker, purl the final 15 stitches. Next row: Purl 10 stitches, slip marker,follow the Flower chart, slip marker, purl to the end of the round. Continue working rounds as established until row 16 of the Flower chart. Row16: Pul0stitches,slipmarker,follw theFlowerchart, slipmarker,place thenext 10 stitches onwaste yarn,purl the final stitches.Thebeginning of the roud has now shifted to the end of the Flower chart. Right mitt: Row 25: Work 15 stitches in the Ribbing patten, place a marker, work the next 20 stitches in the Ribbing pattern, place a marker, purl the final 10 stitches. Next row: Purl 15 stitches, slip marker, follow the Flower chart, slip marker, purl to the end of the round. Continue working rounds as established until row 16 of the Flower chart. Both mitts: Beginthebindoff immediatelyafter completingtheFlowerchart. Usingscrapyarnembroideraflowerusing thesingleknitsquares at theendof thetwistedstemsasyourcenteringmark.Aftercreatingyourflower donotcut youryarn yet. Once you have completed your petals, use another color to make the french knot. Instructions for the flower are below.

Thumbs: Remove the10 stitches from the waste yarn and put them back on the needle.Purl these stitches and pickup5 evenly in the gap. Purl these 15 stitches for4 more rounds.Bind thestitches off.
Cuff Ruffle:
Pick the 45 stitches out of the waste yarn and put these back on the needle. Next row: \*K2, eyelet stitch; repeat from \*across. Next row: Bind off all stitches. Embroidered flower instructions:

Pullthe yarn upthrough the knit stitch, make aloop and insert the needle back into the hole. Pull the needle up through the top edge of the petal and anchorit by going backthrough thesamestitch. Frenchknot: Pullthe needle through the center of the petals, make one loop and insert the needle back down through thehole.Pulthe yarn snug around the needle andpulltheneedle.
