Asbrago is worked in the round and is easily customizable by adding or subtracting a multiple of 3 sts at the cast on. My sample is worked with half skein of Tosh Merino, this makes possible to use leftovers, luxury handspun and precious yarns with a small budget!

Materils
1 skein of Madelinetosh Tosh Merino [100% merino wool, 210yds/ 192m per 100 gr] shown in Ginger. or approx. 100-150 yards/90-140 meters of Worsted/Aran weight yarn. 16"/40cm or longer Us8/5mm circular needle or different size to obtain gauge. 1 stitch marker. yarn needle. Gauge lafter blocing): 18 sts & 26 rounds = 4 inches/10 cm in pattern. Save time by making a swatch!

DIREC-TIONS
Using circular needle and stretchy method (see Techniques), CO 94 sts. Join to work in the round being careful not to twist, pm for beginning of the round. Next Round: [p2, k1tbl] to end. Work this round 3 more times. Round 1: p to end. Round 2: [p2, k1tbl] to end Work these 2 rounds until piece measures approx. 9 inches/23 cm from CO or to desired length. Next Round: [p2, k1tbl] to end. Work this round 3 more times. BO loosely. I suggest a stretchy BO (see Techniques).
FINISHING
Weave in ends, soak and block the neckwarmer to smooth the fabric.
