LTyC 3 Picnic Cozy's Knitting Patterns: Ribbed, Lace, and Cable Designs for Worsted Weight Yarn

Materials: US size #6 dpns, or technique you prefer, 1oz. worsted weight yarn, tapestry nedle Gauge: 4 sts per inch

Cozy #1-Ribbed Cozy

Cast on 36 sts. Join into the round. Be careful not to twist. All rounds K2, P2 for approx. 25 rows or desired length. Bind off purl wise.

Cozy #2 - Lace Cozy

Cast on 36 sts and join into the round. You will be using your tail as your end of round marker. Round 1: Knit Round 2: Purl Round 3: Knit Round 4: (K2tog) x3, (yo, K1) x 6, (K2tog) x 6, (yo, K1) x6, (K2tog) x3 You will be repeating these 4 rounds. You will notice that while 2 needles gain sts., one loses sts. Before round 4, I make sure, starting at my tail that each needle has 12 sts again. This will make things easier as you continue with the cozy. Repeat the 4 round for a total of 6 repeats or desired length. Then do round 1, 2 and 3, then bind off purl wise.

Cozy #3 - Cable Cozy

Loosely cast on 32 sts and join into the round. You will be using your tail as your end of round marker. Rounds 1-3 \*P2, K6\* Round 4 - \*P2,C6F\* Repeat round 1 for 5 rounds, cable on the 6" round C6F - slip 3 sts onto cable needle and hold in front, K3, K3 from cable needle.
