About the pattern
The pattern is made in separate parts then sewn together.

It's an easy pattern and quick to make, and there are so many variations that you can adjust to make your own personalised Dummy. Although I'm from Blighty my pattern is written in US terms (Sorry Folks) It's just what I've grown used to. The different terms are below though so no worries. Feel free to sell anything you make from this pattern. I don't insist you add my name, just ask people who want the pattern to buy their own copy. Otherwise if you share this copy please ask for a donation and give it to a charity (I prefer your local Salvation Army or www.joannaleeds.org)
Terminology
CH - Chain SC - Single Crochet (UK = DC - Double Crochet) DC - Double Crochet (UK = TC - Treble Crochet) FLO-Front Loop Only BL-Both Loops
The Ring
Use the 4mm hook and the 4-ply baby wool. SC around the ring. I start this in the middle of the straight part of the ring because it leaves the tail in a good place to stitch it onto the dummy.

I average about 40 SC around, Join to the beginning SC and fasten off leaving a 7 inch tail
The Dummy Front
Use a 4mm Hook and the 4-ply baby wool. Round 1: Either use an adjustable ring and make 8 DC in ring or CH 3, 8 DC into 2nd CH from hook. Join, CH 3 Round 2: FLO, 3 DC in each DC around, Join, Finish off. Change to the 2.5mm hook and the size 12 crochet cotton. Join to any DC of previous round. BL (SC, CH 3, SC, CH 3) around. Join to first SC, finish off.
The Dummy Back
Using a 4mm hook and 4-ply wool Either use an adjustable ring and make 8 DC in ring or CH 3, 8 DC into 2nd CH from hook. Join, Finish off leaving an 8inch tail for sewing.
Making up the Dummy

1. Sew the 'D' ring to the front piece of the dummy. This is the handle of the dummy, so needs to be in the centre. 2. Using sewing cotton, sew the Embellishment to the Dummy front 3. SC the dummy back to the Back Loops of Round 2 on Dummy front. (or sew the two together if you prefer. Place the magnet into the pocket between the front and back pieces before closing. Don't forget to check which way around the magnet needs to face with your doll. 4.Sew in any loose ends.
