One skein Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Bulky wool/ mohair 125 yd (114meters), 113 gr (3.99 oz), 12 ply single (7wpi) Circular needles size Us 10.5 / 6.5 mm 16" Double pointed needles size US 10.5 / 6.5 mm Yarn needle, large Needle felting supplies, if desired Size: Baby, 16-18" after fulling Gauge: 3 stitches, 4 rows $=\,1"$ Begin at lower edge: Cast on 80 stitches and join being careful not to twist. Place marker at join for center back. (Slip marker every round.) Next round: $\ast\mathsf{K}2$ , K2tog. Repeat from \* all around. (60 stitches remain) Knit even until piece measures 6.5" from lower edge. Begin decreasing as follows: $\ast\mathsf{K}8$ , K2tog. Repeat from \* around. $\ast\mathsf{K}7$ , K2tog. Repeat from \* around. Knit one round even. (48 stitches)

Continue decreasing in pattern and change to double pointed needles when work begins to become uncomfortable on the circular needle. \*K6, K2tog. Repeat from \* around. $\ast\mathsf{K}5$ , K2tog. Repeat from \* around. Knit one round even. (36 stitches) \*K4, K2tog. Repeat from \* around. \*K3, K2tog. Repeat from \* around. $\ast\mathsf{K}2$ , K2tog. Repeat from \* around. $\ast\mathsf{K}1$ , K2tog. Repeat from \* around. Twelve stitches remain at this point. Continue knitting 2 stitches togther all around, every round, until only four stitches remain. Work as an I-cord\* on four stitches for six rows. Fasten off, hide ends with yarn needle. \*I-cord worked as follows: Using double pointed needle, knit all stitches onto one needle. Slide stitches to other end of needle and knit, bringing yarn around from behind your work and pulling the first stitch snug. Repeat process until all rows are complete.
