1. Introduction Hello, this is IM4MAN. I'm a big Warcraft fan and of course I got myself one of the Bloodelf Bandit Masks with my nightelf druid (btw, moonkin ftw). And when I was thinking about winter this year (and already have scarves, scarves in progress and further plans for scarves) I thought about cowls. I never had a cowl before, so I read a few patterns, calculated for the right size and made a chart. I should probably tell you that I did this with double-knitting in hand. And I never double-knit anything before, I taught myself this technique with a youtube video. I intended to use the recommended graph pattern, but during a test knit I found out that my double-knit stitches are almost square anyway.

Join in the round. Now you can cut one of the red strands and continue instead with your contrast color. And already we can start the chart. Just watch out: the chart has 95 stitches so you have to always knit 16 stitches extra before or after your chart (or 8 before and 8 after). Work your chart. And once you've finished, you set the main color red aside and take up another strand of yellow. Knit one row. Bind off.

So far it has worked out so I think I got it right, but it's definetely possible that your double-knitting may look different and end up in a different Size. Also, after knitting the mask, I think that the chart is maybe a bit off- the part with the nose is a bit lower than I would have liked. The rest is perfectly fine. This mask is incredibly toasty and is completely awesome!
