INSTRUCTIONS:
Rnd 1: Using color blue, chain 43, slst to make a circle Rnd 2: Chain 1, hdc in same stitch bl only and in each chain around 42 hdc slst to first stitch Rnd 3: Switch to fuchsia, ch1, sc in same stitch and in each stitch around, slst to first st. Rnd 4: Switch to Purple, ch1, sc in same stitch and each sc around, slst to first stitch Rnd 6: Using blue, ch1, hdc in same stitch and each sc around, slst to first hdc. Rnd 7: Switch to fuchsia, ch1, sc in same stitch, \*ch1, skip stitch and sc in next hdc\* Continue \* to \* around and end with ch1 slst to first sc. Rnd 8: Switch to purple, ch2, skip first sc, \*sc in next ch1 space, ch1\* around and end with sc in ch space and slst to ch2 bind off. Rnd 9: With Fuchsia, ch1, sc in same ch1 space, \*ch1 sc in each ch space\* around slst and bind off. Rnd 10: Join Blue with slst, ch1, hdc in same ch1 space, \*ch1, hdc in next chain space\* around. End with ch1, slst and bind off. Rnd 11: Join green with slst in any hdc, ch 4, \*skip 2, V stitch in next hdc/ch1 space\* around ending with dc in same st as ch4, ch1, slst to top of ch4 and tie off. You should have 14 V stitches. Rnd 12: Slst yellow to any ch1 space in V, ch1, Cl, ch1, drop yellow and with orange ch1 (be careful not to pull loose ends tightly as orange is not secured by your work at this point), Cl, ch1. Repeat around alternating colors and carrying your yarn across the tops of the flowers as you work. Tie off. You should have 7 tulips of each color and 14 ch2 spaces. Rnd 13: Join blue in any ch2 space, Ch2, 2 hdc in same space. 3hdc in each ch2 space around, slst to ch2 = 42 sts Rnds 14-23: Work backward from Row 10 to Row 1. Rnd 24: SIst in bl of each hdc, loosely! this needs to stretch around the top of the cup). Tie off, weave in ends.
