Mirrored cables in two different yarns make this cowl really unique. Working with two worsted weight yarns at once and following a cable chart pattern keeps this a quick and interesting knit. With cables like waves crashing away from each other, pick a variegated and a solid yarn to play on the water theme. Two solid colors make Reflection Cowl super modern and a great way to add two pops of color to any jacket.

MATERIALS
Yarn Malabrigo Worsted (100% Pure Merino Wool. 210 yds/3.5 oz): Continental 26 (MC): 1 skein, and 621 Deja Vu (CC): 1 skein. Needles Size 9 (5.5 mm) needles. Notions Removable markers (m), cable needle, tapestry needle. GAUGE Not necessary; no fit necessary.

MC: Sl 3 sts to CN and hold to back, K3, K3 from CN. CC: Sl 3 sts to CN and hold to front, K3, K3 from CN.

MC: Sl 4 sts to CN and hold to back, K4, K4 from CN. CC: Sl 4 sts to CN and hold to front, K4, K4 from CN. P1 on RS, K1 on WS.
NOTES
You will be working with two yarns at once, but be sure not to cut your yarn! Just switch colors in the center by twisting the strands together and leaving the unused color in the center of your work every row. And the cables change with each color! It might help to note with color is your MC and which color is your CC on your Cable Chart so you know which way to place your cable needle for each color.
DIRECTIONS
CO 33 sts with MC and 33 sts with CC. Establishing Row (RS): Work Moss St for 5 sts, PM, work row 1 of Cable Chart twice, once with CC and again with MC, PM, work Moss St for 5 sts. Continue working Moss St over the first and last 5 sts and repeating rows 1-12 of the Cable Chart until piece measures 27", ending with row 12. BO all sts.
FINISHING
Seam, being sure to line up your center color seam and cables. Weave in your ends and rock this cowl hard!
