Daoimean Shawl Pattern with Chevron Edging and Twisted Stitches in Baby Alpaca and Pima Cotton

In white or off-white, this would be a lovely wedding shaw Finished measurements: 21" X 72" after blocking Materials: Manos Serena (baby alpaca & pima cotton) four 50gr skeins Size US6 (4mm) needles Stitch markers, life line (yarn, heavy nylon thread, thin nylon string, or thin ribbon), tapestry needle Gauge: 5.5 sts /inch (22 sts /4") Pattern: 3 sts for garter stitch edge, 20 st + 1 repeat for main pattern, 2 sts for left twisted stitches between main pattern and chevron edge, and 6 sts to begin chevron edge, which will grow to 15 stitches Loosely, cast on 108 sts Work 3 rows in garter stitch. Begin main pattern with a 3 st garter edge (not shown on chart). Work 5 main pattern repeats, left twist (2 sts), begin chevron edge pattern. All WS rows are purled. NOTE: remember to knit the last three stitches on WS rows for garter stitch edging. Work through pattern as many times as you like: pictured shawl is 14 pattern repeats. 2015 tatoland
