Size: Scarf shown is approximately 7 feet long and 8 inches wide Gauge: As this is a scarf, gauge is unimportant. Throw gauge to the wind- just this one time. Yarn: Approximately 44o yards of DK weight yarn in two different colourways (Colour A - CA and Colour B - CB.) Scarf shown uses 4 balls of Noro Kureyon (110 yds / 50 g.) Needles: One pair of US 9 ( mm) needles. Notions: A ssewing needle to weave in ends. The Pattern: With CA cast on 39 stitches. Work farrow rib with CA as follows: Row 1: Knit 2, purl 1. Repeat to end of row. Row 2: Slip first stitch. Knit 1, purl 1. Now, knit 2, purl 1 across all stitches to end of row. Stop working with CA. Begin working with CB as follows: Row 3: Repeat Row 2. Row 4: Repeat Row 2. Continue working scarf in this manner, switching yarns every two rounds until scarf is desired length . Bind off all 39 stitches in working yarn as per pattern.
