Kitty Beans are so cute and playful! They're always up for fun, like to laugh and just plain have a ball! The best thing about knitted toys is that gauge doesn't matter! I recommend going down 2-3 needle sizes from the suggested needle size on the yarn label

Materials:

Yarn- 30 yards Needles- one 36" or longer circular & one needle of the same size Safety Eyes Safety Nose Serap Yarn - for mouth Stuffing Scissors Yarn/Tapestry Needle

Body

Co 16 sts Join in the round using the Magic Loop method, making sure not to twist your stitches. Row 1: (k1, k1fb, k1fb, k2, k1fb, k1fb, k1) twice - 24 sts R 2: k all sts R 3: (k2, k1fb, k1fb, k4, k1fb, kifb. k2) twice - 32 sts R 4: k all sts R 5: (k3, k1fb, k1fb, k6, k1fb, k1fb, k3) twice - 40 sts R 6-16: k all sts R 17: (k3, k2tog, k2tog, k6, k2tog, k2tog, k3) twice - 32 sts R 18-26: k all sts R 27: (k2, k2tog, k2tog, k4, k2tog, k2tog, k2) twice - 24 sts R 28: k all sts R 29: (k1, k2tog, k2tog, k2, k2tog, k2tog, k1) twice - 16 sts R 30: k all sts Turn the body inside out and Bo using the 3 needle bind off. Then turn the body right side out again. Add the safety eyes, embroider on the mouth, and add the nose. Stuff generously, and whip stitch the bottom of the body closed.

Ears

Co 10 sts Join in the round using the Magic Loop method, making sure not to twist your stitches. Rows 1-2: k all sts R 3: (k2tog, k3) twice - 8 sts R 4: k all sts R 5: (k2, k2tog) twice - 6 sts Cut your yarn, and with a tapestry needle run the yarn through all of the stitches and pull the end closed. Whip stitch the ears to the top of the head.

Tail

Co 4 sts Work as an I-cord. This can be done with a circular needle or 2 DPNs. Rows 1-15: k all sts Cut your yarn, and with a tapestry needle run the yarn through all of the stitches and pull the end closed. Whip stitch the tail to the lower back of the Kitty's body.
