∞Melon Sorbet oo
A simple triangle shawl in three (or more or less) colors. Needed skills: knit, purl, yarnover, ssk and k2tog. The colors of the testknit reminded me of soft ice (lemon-melon-woodruff) so I called it , Melon Sorbet". Yarn: Katia Bamboo (100m/50 g, 60 % bamboo, 40 % cotton, 10 cm = 22 M.) green 100 g (A), light green 150 g (B), yellow 100 g (C); color sequence: \*A - B - C - B \* Yardage for testknit was: A 130 m, B 230 m, C 150 m (Be careful, yardage kann vary depending on your needle size and gauge) Needle size: 5,0 mm Gauge: 13 stittches = 4 inch after blocking. Size after blocking: ca. 250 cm wide, 70 cm deep

Tips for color changing:
There are a few methods to change colors: break yarn, weave in ends every time the color is changing or cross working yarn with the other 2 colors at beginning of every right side row @ (this is, what I have done) work wrong side row to 1 st before end, lay the other 2 colors from ws to rs over working yarn, knit last st. For me this one works best.
Here we go:
Cast on 3 st with a method of your choice R 1: k1, yo, k1 (=cs), yo, k1 (5 sts) (wrong side row) R 2: K1, yo, k1, yo, k1 (=cs), yo, k1, yo, k1 (9 sts) (right side row) R3: k2, p to last 2 sts, k2 (ws) R 4: k1, yo, kto cs, yo, k1 (cs), yo, kto last st, yo, k1 (13 sts) (rs) R5: garter row: kto cs, p1, kto end of row (ws) R6: k1, yo, k to cs, yo, k1, yo, kto last st, yo, k1 (17 sts) R 7: k 2, purl to last 2 st, k2 R8: (lace row) k1, yo, k1 \*yo, ssk\* repeat between \* to cs, yo, k1 (cs), yo, \*k2tog, yo\* to Ist 2 sts, k1, yo, k1 (21 sts) R9: same as R 7 R 10: same as R 6 (25 sts) R 11: same as R 5, garter row R 12: same as R 6 (29 sts) R 13: same as R 7 change color (color sequence: \*A - B - C- B \*) R 14: k1, yo, k to cs, yo, k1, yo, k to last st, yo, k1 (33 st) Repeat row 3 to 14 as often as you desire, changing colors after every repeat. In last repeat before bind off work rows 10-13 in garter st, only the cs in stockinette. Bind off: k1, \*k1, slip both st on left needle and k2togtbl\* repeat from \* to \* to end of shawl, break yarn, weave in ends. Wash, block and enjoy your new Melon Sorbet :-)
