A Day in Hogsmeade Cowl By Clare Raney This pattern is gaugeless and rowless on purpose so that your possibilities really are endless. You can use whatever hook and yarn you please. I suggest an extra bulky weight yarn that is super soft because you will be wearing it on your neck. Try to avoid itchy or stiff yarns. I used hdc, but you can use any st you like. This can easily be adapted to add stripes, or you could even make it lacy. I made this very basic so that you could get creative, so don't let me down!
Step 1

30" Chain the $30^{\pi}$ length. Crochet a $7^{\pi}\mathrm{{x30^{\pi}}}$ rectangle.
Step 2

Evenly space buttons across 7" on the bottom left hand side. (Any number of buttons..)
Step 3

When you put it on your neck, wrap it so that the buttons will go through the area highlighted in red. (Or you can experiment with different ways to button it up!)
