Materials

80 - 100 % Wool, Wool blend Roving or Worsted commercial yarn. Designed with 2ply Home Spun, Solitude Wool 99.9 % Romney Lamb with Silk thrums, Roving; 4 oz / 100 grams, Lot #S110 Approximately 80Yards spun Size 11(8mm) circular needle, 22-24 in One stitch marker Row counter (optional) Tapestryneedle Gauge: 12 sts x 22 rows = 4 in / 10 cm square in pattern stitch. I took gauge after taking it off my needles. This is notapatternforyoutohavetobeexact!I havegiven youanapproximation.

Pattern Notes

Gauge is approximate because I did not have enough yarn to do a proper gauge. Knit a small swatch, but do not bind off or cut the yarn so you may rip it out and try again until you get the desired approximate gauge. Pattern multiplier is 5 if you wish to cast on more or less depending on how much yarn you have to work with. Relax and just have fun with it.

Home Spun Mini-Cowl

Cast on 80 sts and join-in-the-round placing a maker at beginning of the first round. Rnd 1: \*K3, p2; rep from \* to marker. Rnds 2- 8: Repeat rnd 1. Rnds 9-11: Purl to marker. Rnds 12-14: Repeat rnd 2. Rnds 15 - 20: rep rnds 9 through 14. Rnds 21 - 23: Purl. Rnds 24 - 31: Repeat rnd 2. Rnd 32: Bind-off in pattern.
