Hat based on a Poke'ball
SIZES Fits a teen/adult 19-22" head
MATERIALS
1/2 skein each red & white worsted weight yarn small amount of black worsted weight yarn Ghook Tapestry needle
HAT BODY
With red yarn chain 3, join to form a ring Round 1: Chain 3 (counts as 1st dc), 11 dc into the ring.(12) Round 2: Chain 3, 2 dc into each dc, join. Round 3: Chain 3, (dc in next dc, 2dc) around, join. Round 4: Chain 3, (dc in next 2dc, 2dc) around, join. Round 5: Chain 3, (dc in next 3dc, 2dc) around, join. Round 6: Chain 3, (dc in next 5dc, 2dc) around, join. Round 7-10: Chain 3, dc in each dc around. Join & fasten off.
Round 11: Join black yarn. Chain 3, dc in each dc around. join & fasten off. Rounds 12-15: Join white yarn. Chain 3, dc in each dc around. join & fasten off. Weave in all ends.
FRONT BUTTON
With White Chain 3, join to form a ring. Round 1: Chain 3 (counts as 1st dc), 11 dc into the ring (12). Join & fasten off, weave in ends. Round 2: Join black. Chain 3, 2 dc into each dc, join. Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Use long tail to sew button to front of hat centering on the black row.
