Instructiony
Using Figure 8 method, CO 16 sts, 8 on each side of needle for magic loop (ML). Work 1 round even. Start toe chart, taking care to work orange highlighted sts on SECOND SIDE OF ML ONLY. On first side of ML, work those stitches in plain St st. When chart is completed, you should have 36 sts per side of ML,72 sts total. Start Chart B on SECOND SIDE OF ML ONLY and K plain St st on second side of ML. Work Chart B and K sole sts until 2” shorter than desired length. And remember that once Chart B is complete, repeat rounds 44-55 throughout rest of sock. hich round of Chart B you ended on. On first side of ML, start heel as follow Row 1: K across to last st, wrap last st (wyif, sl next st pwise to RH needle) turn Row 2: wyif, sl wrapped st pwise, P to last st, wrap last st (wyib, sl next st pwise to RH needle) turn Row 3: Sl 1st st pwise, K to 1 st before wrapped st, wrap next st (wyif, sl next st pwise to RH needle) turn Row 4: Sl 1st st pwise, P to 1 st before wrapped st, wrap next st (wyib, sl next st pwise to RH needle) turn Rep rows 3-4 until 14 sts remain unwrapped, finish heel as follows: vise, K to wrapped st, K wrapped st tog with wrap (I find it easier to do this b! slipping wrapped st to RH needle, using the LH needle to pu the wrap or wraps and place it/them bacl on the LH needle along with the st itself, then work it as indicated, knitting the wraps together with th stitch), wrap next st (this st will now be double wrapped), turn Row 2: Sl 1 st pwise, P to wrapped St, P wrapped st tog with wrap, wrap next st (this st will now be double wrapped), turn Row 3: Sl 1 st pwise, K to double-wrapped st, K st tog with BOTH wraps, wrap next st (this st is now double-wrapped) Row 4: Sl 1 st pwise, P to double-wrapped st, P st tog with BOTH wraps, wrap next st (this st is now double-wrapped) Rep rows 3-4 until all sts are worked and “unwrapped", end with a K row. Work next rnd of Chart B to finish off the round. When working next round, pu a st in the gap between heel and instep and decrease to compensate. Continue chart where you left off on BOTH sides of the ML, remembering to repeat rounds 44-55 as desired. Work until desired length. Work ribbing as follows: Round 1: \*P1, K3, P1, K3, P1, (K2, P1) twice, K2, P2, K2, (P1, K2) twice, P1, K3, P1, K3, P1 \*; rep \* to\* once more for second half of ML Rep round 1 until ribbing measures 1 1/4" Bind of in desired stretchy method (regular BO done VERY LOOSELY, or Suspended BO, tubular BO, sewnBO,etc.)
