Over the Head Bib
A pattern by The Experimental Knitter. No strings attached to this bib! Fit it over the head of baby, then use it as a wash cloth to wipe baby clean. The added length in the back helps keep it in place. A beginner can make this bib using a simple stitch like garter or seed stitch. In an ombré yarn, itll look smashing.

Make this bib using any bib pattern you like; it's all in the finishing! Plan on having 2 balls (\~200 yds) of worsted cotton on hand; the bib shown here was made with Pisgah Yarns Peaches & Creme in color #156 Rainbow. The sample pattern for the bib is Rhonda's Delight by Down Cloverlaine at http://downcloverlaine.blogspot.com/. Please go there for this stitch pattern. You may cut 2nd ball of yarn leaving a tail to weave in later. 7) Work even for \~2". 8) Final shaping: Bind off 2 sts at begininning of next 8 rows, then bind off 3 sts at beginning of next 2 rows.
