Bow

Cast on 10 sts using the crochet provisional method and a waste piece of yarn. Using working yarn $\bf{*}_{\bf k l}$ , sll wyif, $\mathbf{y}\mathbf{b}^{*}$ repeat between \* to end. When working the first two rows off of the waste yarn, it may look strange to be slipping waste yarn sts but this is necessary to make the cast on end able to be grafted. Knit in established pattern for 14 rows or 6.5". After a few rows it will become quite obvious that the knitting is forming a tube. Graft the end of tube by dividing the sts between 2 needles (5 each). The "purl"' sts will be on one needle and "knit" sts will be on the other. Use the Kitchener stitch to seamlessly graft ends together. Remove provisional cast on and graft the same as the other end.

Wrap

Cast on 5 sts with crochet provisional method and knit 12 rows in stockinette st, slipping the first st of every row. Graft the 2 ends together with Kitchener stitch and fold bow in half and insert into wrap. Tug on the ends of the bow to fluff them up, weave in ends and sew to a head band, comb, bobby pins, barrette or whatever you'd like to embellish.
