Armbands

Using the smaller needle, pick up and knit 3 for every 4 stitches around the armhole, making sure you have a multiple of 4. Using magic loop, Work 4 rows of 2 x 2 ribbing. Cast off.

Neckline

Using the smaller needle pick up 3 out of every 4 stitches making sure it is a multiple of4 + 2, starting at the left shoulder. Make sure you pick up the bound off stitch in the centre front. This part requires a litle forward planning as you want to have 4 knit stitches in the middle of the v opening (it may make it easier to mark these 4 knit stitches with stitch markers), with 2 x 2 ribbing the rest of the way around. Using magic loop, Knit 2 rounds in 2 x 2 rib pattern. On the third round knit in pattern to the first of the 4 centered stitches. SSK, K2tog, continue in pattern. Rib in pattern until 3 stitches from the centre. Insert your right needle purl-wise into the second stitch on the left needle, then knit-wise into the first stitch. Slip from the left needle together. P1, P2SSO. Continue in rib pattern. Rib in pattern until 3 stitches from the centre. Insert your right needle knit-wise into the second stitch on the left needle, then purl-wise into the first stitch. Slip from the left needle together. K1, P2SSO. Continue in rib pattern. Bind Off using a stretchy Cast off.
