A free pattern from Kristen Rettig, www.knitionary.blogspot.com Finished size: 30" x 38" Materials: Rowan All Seasons Cotton 3 x Tornado,235 (shown) or Storm, 251 2 x Organic, 178 2 x Atlas, 252 (shown) or Hedge, 246 Needles:Size US 9 Gauge: 14 sts. x 21 sts. Instructions: With Tornado, cast on 105 stitches. Knit three rows in garter stitch. Row 1: (RS) K Row 2: K3, P to last 3 sts., K3 Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you are finished with this first skein of Tornado stopping at the end of a row. Switch to Organic and repeat rows 1 and 2 until that skein is finished. Repeat this wide stripe pattern now using Atlas, then Tornado, Organic, and Atlas, ending with Tornado, saving enough yarn to finish, see below. To finish: Work 3 rows garter stitch, cast off on RS. Weave in ends. Machine wash with cool water on delicate cycle, tumble dry on warm. It will not need blocking.
