Designed by Joji Locatelli A chunky oversized cowl worked ina delicious thick n' thin yarn. We designed this beautiful oversized cowl using one of our most popular yarns: Copitos. We hope you make one and enjoy it! It knits up in just a couple of hours...
Materials:
2 skeins of Copitos (150g - 60 yd) in your favorite color. (shown in colorway 3040 - Animal Print). US 35 (19mm) knitting needles Blunt tapestry needle Some yards of scrap yarn in a matching color. Gauge: Not really important, but about 5 st to 4 inches (10 cm) in garter st.
Finished Measurements:
16 inches (40 cm) wide. 32 inches (80 cm) long.
Directions:
Cast on 20 stitches. Start knitting in garter stitch (knit all rows) until your piece measures about 32 inches (80 cm) or until you run out of yarn. Bind off all st loosely. Using your piece of scrap yarn, sew the cast-on edge to the bind off edge. Sew in ends and enjoy! To wear, fold the cowl along its circumference so that it is doubled as shown in the picture.
