Materials: 100 yards super bulky or bulky yarn About 150-175 yards of worsted weight. Size M/9mm hook for the super bulky/bulky or a size K/6.5mmfor worsted weight, 4 buttons Notions: tapestry needle for weaving in ends and sewing on buttons Skill level: Beginner, US terminology

Chain 19, turn and sc in 2nd stitch from hook and each remaining chain. Turn Body pattern: Section 1: Ch3, \*yarn over twice (like a treble st), insert hook into first st, draw yarn through, yarn over and draw through 2 loops, yarnover and draw through 2 loops\*, (there should be 2 loops on the hook) repeat \* to \* once more in the next st.. There should be 3 loops on your hook \*\*Yarn over and insert hook into next stitch, draw yarn through, yarn over and draw through 2 loops\*\* repeat \*\* to \*\* two more times. There should be 6 loops on hook. \*\*\*Yarm over and insert hook into next st, draw yarn through the stitch and 1 loop\*\*\* repeat \*\*\* to \*\*\* two more times. There should be 9 loops on the hook and 9 stitches worked, counting the turning chain. #Yarn over and pull through the first loop on the hook. (9 loops should be left on the hook) Yarn over and draw through 2 loop #(8 loops on hook) Repeat # to # 7 more times until only one loop remains on hook. Sc into each of the spaces left from the “pull-through" row (they will look like 8 little squares when you spread them out) Work a hdc into the base of where the last “post"’ of the final square comes out of the first row of sc's, sc in back loops of the remaining stitches (18 stitches total) TURN

Work 17 (super bulky weight), 23(bulky weight), 29(worsted weight) more sections as before except: on the final row: ch1, sc in first st, ch3, sc in next 2 stitches, ch3, sc in next 2 sts, ch3, sc in next 2 sts, ch3, sc in remaining stitches.
