Materials needed:
SizeGhook Sport weight or sock yarn 1" inch diameter elastic hair band, or rubber band or similar size Terminology: Ch = chain SI St = slip stitch Sc = single crochet
Instructions:
Ch 5, Slip stitch to close and form circle Round 1: chain 2 (counts as 1st single crochet), single crochet 11 (12 stitches) slip stitch to close Round 2: [\*Chain 6, single crochet in next stitch\*] repeat through end of round Round 3: [\*chain 4, single crochet through next loop\*] Rounds 4-6: repeat round 3 Using, elastic band, insert hook into loop and through center of elastic band, making sure to place the yarn over the top of the band. pull yarn through and single crochet; do this 3 times in each loop, slip stitch to close round, fasten off.
