Kindle Pouch
Crochet Pattern


This is a decorative cover, and doesn't protect the kindle or tablets from damage.
Materials:
Yarn: 1 strand Sensations Sumptuous weight 6 or 3 strands of worsted weight yarn, or 1 strand bulky weight 5 and 1 strand worsted weight. (1) 1-1/2" to 2" shank button. (Loop on back of button) Hook size(s): N (10mm) Sizes: Gauge: 6-1/2 stitches and 7 rows in = 4" x 4" Abbreviations: sl st - slip stitch Ip - loop sc - single crochet hdc - half double crochet dc - double crochet 2dctog - decrease 2 dc together st or sts - stitch or stitches ch - chain stitch rnd(s) - round(s) sp-space beg - beginning

Round 1 - ch 8, sc in 2nd ch from hook, and in next 5, 3sc in last ch. Working on opposite side of beginning ch, sc in each of the next 5 chs, 2sc in last ch. (16 sc) Round 2 - working in bl only, \*sc in next 7, 2sc\*, repeat from \* to \* once. (18 sc) Round 3 thru 12 - working in both loops, sc around, using a stitch marker in 1st sc of each round to keep your place. (18 sc) should measure approximately 7-7/8" long. Round 13 - sc in next 5, ch 12, sk 2 sps, sc in next 2, sl st in next 2, fasten off, weave in ends.\*\*\*\*If making straps DO NOT fasten off, follow strap instructions. Optional strap - from last sl st, sc in next, ch 50, or about 24" long. Sc in sp directly across pouch making sure not to twist the chain, sl st in next, fasten off. This length is meant to wear in front of the body, for easy listening to your tunes, as shown in the photo.

Sew on button with needle and thread; strap should fit tightly when fastened around the button. \*\*\*\*you are welcome to sell your finished items from this pattern, however. please do not copy or redistribute the pattern in any way.
