PATTERN

Flowers

Each flower is constructed of three separate parts; the leaves, a large ring of petals and a small ring of petals. These three parts are knit separately and then sewn together. Use 2 double pointed needles or a circular needle. One flower is attached to the side of the hat, and the other two flowers are attached to the front of each mitten at the base of the cuff. For the baby size, the mitten flowers are omitted, because of the potential of chewing and choking. Make 1 for baby, 3 for other sizes. Use Size US #3 needles for the flower pattern.
